Macquarie River, Bathurst NSW
Lake George
Mumble, NSW
Far from the sea lies a land of red earth, wide horizons and endless sky. Sun-bleached grasses sway in the heat, rivers wind through groves of eucalypt and willow, and dragonflies dance above still water. Quiet roads lead past weathered farm buildings, windmills, fences and fields of gold, through small towns where time seems reluctant to move on. Storms roll across distant hills, pelicans rise from river flats, and black cockatoos fly into the morning sun. These are landscapes shaped by light, weather, memory and solitude. A place where the ordinary becomes timeless, and where, in my mind, it will forever be summer.
